Anime Land on their Twitter discovered that Weekly Shonen Sunday has a major announcement for the series. That announcement was the new series from creator Kenjirou Hata. The new series will debut on September 2nd and run monthly, with Hayate still continuing.
Hayate the Combat Butler has had 4 seasons with the latest being Hayate the Combat Butler: Cuties released in 2013. The popularity of the manga seems to be solid as the manga still continues after running for more than a decade on Weekly Shonen Sunday and having 46 compiled tradebacks. All we hope for is a good solid season.
Sentai Filmworks owns all of Hayate the Combat Butler’s animated series season while Viz Manga has the licensed for the manga. You can watch the first episode of Cuties legally for free on Crunchyroll and acquire the manga legally through multiple outlets.
