The reboot of Reboot will start production.  Titled Reboot: The Guardian Code instead of it being a CGI only show, it will be a cross between CGI and live action.  Mainframe Entertainment, the original Canadian creator studios of the series, will produce this series and Chorus Entertainment will be its international distributor.   In a prepared statement, Michael Hefferon, one of the creators of the original series said, ” We are thrilled to receive the greenlight from Corus Entertainment to move forward with the production of Reboot: The Guardian Code.  Technology is ever-changing and Reboot: The Guardian Code will utilize the very technology inherent in the concept of the show—and prevalent in kids’ everyday lives—to drive a new type of relationship across multiple platforms.”

The premise for the show will have Austin, Parker, Grey and Tamra stopping the plots of Sourcerer, a hacker that wants to control cyberspace.  With that said, including the action it will have them attempting to balance their cyberspace fighting lives with their real lives as they attempt to avoid getting suspended, or handling their crushes on people.  The 24 episode series will have a release date to follow later.  Interesting enough, this method is the same step that Code Lyoko took with Code Lyoko Evolution.  We will have to wait to see how it handles.
