Cannes Film Festival is one of the most anticipated film festivals of the year. The festival invites the films they want to see and often times is known for being vocal. Inside Out’s showing is one of those times. CNN reports that within the showing of the Disney logo, the audience booed audibly. It then changed to cheers when the Pixar Logo Showed up. To take a more extreme example of their vocality, during Inside Out a critic said “F**k you and your slow movie!” and the left the showing in anger.
With that said, CNN also reports that Inside Out as well as Mad Max: Furry Road both were well received by the audience (cursing audience member and minor booing disregarded for Inside Out). Inside Out comes out June 19 in the US.
